Finally!
I’m always caught between being busy and procrastinating, but tonight, I will write my first post. Not even my lazy self won't be able to stop me!
After so much brainstorming for a new blog title (ABC Mom, Misis Moonlight, Pinay Working Nanay, Nanay-At-Work), I settled for The Nanay Chronicles because (1) I am a Nanay and (2) this will be my chronicles of my tiring yet exciting journey as a mom. I still have my Just Thinking Aloud blog, my English-Tagalog space in cyberworld containing anecdotes about me, my feelings, my activities, my weekends. But you see, my mind is overflowing with so many thoughts that one blog can't handle them, hence, the birth of this blog.
Just kidding. Right now, I am looking at the number of blog posts for Just Thinking Aloud: 90 in 2008 (I started in April of 2008); 114 in 2009, 45 in 2010; 12 in 2011; 3 in 2012. Geeez.
Let me tell you what happened in 2010. I gave birth. And that's it. The culprit. (Proof: Of my 45 entries in 2010, 40 posts were written while I have not given birth.)
Sometimes I wonder if I needed a course on time management. Or is it a matter of finding some “me” time?
So tonight, I am making a pact with myself. I will give myself some treat. I will create my ME time.
